Parking on Springfield Ave. Sucks!!! There's public parking behind Burnett BBQ, but most of the spaces available are being used by the dodge dealer! can't anything be done about this?? its very frustating!! there's no where to park. Citizens should be given parking permits so they can park in a 2 hour zone if no other parking space is available. If Maplewood wants more people to come to maplewood they should provide more parking!! All customers complaint about parking, and they are all leaving!! WE NEED MORE PARKING!!! |

Monica: The parking lot behind Burnett BBQ is not the only municipal parking by Springfield Avenue. Parking lots are scattered throughout this commercial zone, though as you pointed out, most are behind the stores. |

Monica, do you mean that the Dodge dealer is using the lot to store inventory or just their customers and employees are using the lot? I remember some discussions a year or so ago about the dealer using the streets to store customers cars in for service. I believe some streets have no parking regulations because of that. |

Monica: Your first post. Welcome! Is your name really Monica, or are you attempting to invoke images from and nostalgia for the Clinton administration. And as for your user name, are you here to spice things up? |

"WE NEED MORE PARKING!!!" Speaking of more parking... Some of you may remember my complaint about Vic and Jerry when they were on the Township Committee removing all the parking on Elmwood Avenue and the side streets across from Winchester Gardens. I said then, "What happens when this person moves?" Well, the person who raised the big stink has recently put her home up for sale for just under a half million dollars. Interestingly, her two neighbor pals around the corner on Fleming Terrace who supported her complaint have already moved. Both I might add are making a nice profit. So what you may be thinking? I'll tell you so what! Because of her and her pals the rest of the neighborhood lost 70 Residential Street Parking Spaces. Now when the new families moving in these properties decide to have families and friends over for holiday parties or whatever, they will need to send their guests down the road to park in front of other neighbor's property who also might need the parking for their family and friends... The sad part of the whole issue is that the alleged reason for posting the "No Stopping - No Standing" signs was to stop Winchester Garden employees from being picked up and dropped off in front of their only entrance. Guess what? That's right, the employees continue to be picked up and dropped off just like they always have. Only now because of this one person and a few of her pals who helped her raise hell with the town, they will all be gone and the neighborhood will remain minus the 70 residential parking spaces!!! "YES WORKING GIRL, WE NEED MORE PARKING EVERYWHERE IN TOWN!!! LETS WORK ON IT TOGETHER!"

What Monica says, "Parking on Springfield Ave sucks, we need more parking, etc." What Art hears, "me me me me me me me me me me."

Johnny, what I hear from you every chance you get is your hate and anger for "me me me me me me me me me me." What Art says, "Stalking on MOL sucks, we need more parking for vehicles of hate and anger, etc... Try parking it Johnny, that is if you can find a space somewhere in your twisted hateful brain! |

Johnny, we've been down this road before. It’s apparent you enjoy making your smart- comments from afar. Why not stand tall and meet me face to face. I’m sure you have a lot more to say, so I challenge you meet me in front of the clock in Rickleton Square at noon this Saturday. Our Seconds can work out the details if you decide to show up...

That’s right, I challenge him to a duel! In all probability it will be a war of words, but either way I’ll give Johnny Boy a chance to pick his weapon of choice... This not the first time Johnny has publicly ridiculed me on something I’ve posted. Personally, I’m sick and tired of reading his derisive and insulting public remarks about me. It’s one thing to be at odds with something posted, but it’s unacceptable to turn it into an opportunity for a personal attack. Therefore, I mean this post to be a slap across his face with my glove. I have no idea who he is or why he continues to stalk me on line with his personal insults. I’ve had enough. It’s time for Johnny to put up or shut up. He can either meet me Saturday, December 4th at high noon in Ricalton Square, where we can try to clear this matter up, or he can just continue to slink around the Board like the pathetic little creature I think he is. Soda, this is a free event and all Molers are invited to witness this historic, first ever duel in Maplewood Village.

How far are you willing to walk from a parking spot, Monica? If you increase that distance just a tad, you may find there is plenty of parking. |

Art, One last parting shot before I slink off to another part of the board... Here is one of my favorite Art quotes referring to me: "Both of you are nothing more than a couple of scum bags who spew your hate for personal and self serving reasons." |

I remember it well, and you haven't given me any reason to change my mind. They say the truth hurts.... So how do you feel about who you are in the matter? As I recall, I apologized on that one to anyone I may have offended, and may have even offered you an olive branch. Listen, before you slink off somewhere; in case you haven't got the message yet, I don't like you criticizing me personally on line. So, if you still feel you need to get in by face, I suggest that you meet "me me me me me me me me me me" this Saturday in Ricalton Square and you can hear first hand what I have to say. Be there or be square...
