There will be a Community Workshop for the Maplewood Master Plan on Thursday, April 11 at 8:00 P.M. in the "new cafeteria" at Columbia High School.

This is the first in a series of meetings and workshops needed to gather community input on the new Master Plan. The meeting will be led by Mr. Richard Preiss of Abeles Phillips Preiss & Shapiro, the consultants we've hired to guide us through this initiative.

This is a public meeting to which all interested citizens are invited.

Could you just take a moment to give me a general idea of what the master plan is? What does it mean? This will help me decide if it's something I want to potentially get involved in. Thanks!

Mb3303: check the January 15, 2002 agenda thread in this section. There's a brief explanation with pointers to the Municipal Land Use Law on-line. Try /discus/messages/3132/5845.html? for the thread.
