It seems that many of the decisions within South Orange (as most towns) are impacted by "the family tree". Many of us do not know the family tree and therefore do not understand many decisions. Perhaps this is where the light should be shed? The one most obvious to be is 1) The village adminstrator/treasure/??? is the new husband of an ex-trustee. ( Our ex-trustee was a voting member of the board of trustees at that time. Impact: village admin obtains job security and a nice raise after a vote) 2) Bill Calabrese has a business relationship with Sayid. How long has that impacted past decisions? Impact: Has this increased the delay in construction on Sayid's empty lot by allowing him special rights? 3) Mary T. on the Parking Authority? What impact will that have being the wife of the administrator? 4) 5) How many more are there? How many other parts of our government are being impacted???? (While reading another thread this came to mind after seeing the name "Counsel C. Hartwyk " looks familiar?? What stops this town from moving forward and how many people are taking what they can out of it? Draining it? I thought Jersey was cracking down on this sort of thing??

I thought Counsel C. Hartwyk was involved with the BOT a few years ago. What's he got to do with anything now? |

Talk, Don't forget - Village "Attorney" (I use the term loosely) is also an ex-Trustee. What past screw-ups is he now covering up for? BTW - This should be a seperate thread within South Orange Specific. |
