Just take a look at the CHS Hall of Fame list - http://www.maplewoodonline.com/matters/fame/ OR http://www.somsd.k12.nj.us/hof.htm - although I just tried to check this URL, and I'm getting a "cannot find the server" error message. |

If the list can be expanded to include people who lived here, Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller when they were married to each other. |

Doesn't John Davidson still live here? The Bay City Rollers lived on Walton Avenue within spitting distance of South Orange whilst recording an album. Absolute hearsay, of course. [Edited to add: Elisabeth Shue (no z, like in my name) and John Scher. Sorry. Spelling corrections are practically compulsive. Plus John Scher was responsible for most of the Grateful Dead's East Coast Tours, so it's a proud association.] |

In a previous thread someone indicated the Bay City Rollers lived in the townhouse condos on Wyoming north of South Orange Avenue. Actually, you can have 'em, Maplewood doesn't want them. |
