Any update on when the restaurant that is replacing Giorgio's will be opening? (or did I miss it?)

I haven't heard anything about that place in a long time.

I am sure it will be Coming Soon right after they tear it down before the election.

There was a lot of work going on for a while, but I haven't seen any lately. Hoping for the best.

They put tables and chairs outside this week, I would guess that's progress. Everytime I walk by there work is being done, but no sign saying when it will be finished.

Where Georgio's used to be.

Between Vose & Scotland Ave, near the library.

I believe the street name is Taylor, but I could be wrong. If I'm right, it's on the corner of Vose & Taylor - across from Shop Rite Liquors.

Beifus is supposed to start construction next week, too.

Sorry...I couldn't resist!

I think Biefus started construction...A police officer was stopping traffic at that location the other morning and heavy equipment was being off loaded...and the sidewalk was closed off at that area.

Let's take bets as to when the Beifus construction will stop. I say May 11th.

I say May 9th. They'll start to break ground and then realize that there is an old oil tank that went undetected that needs to be tested AFTER they've accidentally hit it with the back hoe. Then someone will take dirt from there to fill a hole in the SOPAC site thus setting back that project another few months.

Just drove past Voro (the restaurant that replaced Giorgios)--there's a big sign out front and people inside eating, so I'm assuming it's now open...

Thanks, Nora.

Their website looks cool, but it's still a work in progress: http://www.vororestaurant.com/
