I don't believe you know me, no. I'm in school for my bfa, so I haven't been working in the field too much lately. Which is unfortunate, because I could sure use a summer job. Argh.

How goes your film with Lauria?

Good Cop and Bad Cop team up to get some info from strung out hooker, who is implicated in the dismemberment of an eastern european drug dealer. What happens when the "bad cop" leaves the room and the hooker is left alone with the "good cop" will upset your expectations of what is black and white. The story turns stereotypes on their heads and gives you the pleasure of figuring out what you have just seen in a brand new light.

A short film, the third, from Freshwater Films,LLC and the third with my DP Chris Freilich.

Thanks Wendy and Bets.. I dont know about the Goat. I am gonna send them my first two films and see what they think of em. This one, BUST, is a pretty large departure from the first two. It is a violent sexual nasty story of a really dirty cop. Not exactly family fare :-)

"Good Cop and Bad Cop team.."

This sounds like the good Art and the bad Art...

Hey, Duncan, unlike the Goat, we have a policy at "H2TA" that will allow director's or what ever to show their films pretty much any Monday or Tuesday night.

We don't check the films out to see what we'll show. Art is Art. We'll also do a Saturday or Sunday morning thing. Check us out when you get a chance.

"BUST" sounds very interesting. Good luck and give us a call if we can help out... Best wishes, Art and Libby

Hehe, I should send you my headshots!

I wish you all the luck in the world. And hey, if there's anything for me to do, PL me.

Oh, and I'm getting my degree from FDU & Rutgers

Peace

Still actively seeking donations via Paypal at
www.freshwater-films.com

Chris (my DP) and I have a great idea for a series of short films that we want to shoot and then market to SNL or MAD TV or the like. BUt we have to shoot them first. A friend of mine who writes sketch comedy told me a story about sending SNL some material he had written and getting a note back saying that SNL doesnt read stuff that is not sent via an agent. Then low and behold three weeks later 2 sketches on the show demonstrated a more than coincidental resemblance to the material my friend had submitted. So I intend to shoot three of these shorts send em out and say I can give you 20 more of these if you will pay for their production. They would be similar to the old Schillers Reels of SNL's heyday.

No amount too small. And certainly no amount too large :-)
