My husband and I will be in the Maplewood/South Orange area this Saturday and would like to have a nice dinner in the area prior to heading back to NYC. Could anyone recommend any good restaurants in the neighborhood? We are looking for something quiet and intimate, but not to expensive. The type of food doesn't really matter.
We were also considering heading over to Montclair to find a restaurant but I would prefer someplace in Maplewood/South Orange considering we will be moving to the neighborhood in a few months. |

I would say for quiet and intimate try Terra, next to the video store on Maplewood Ave. Otherwise in SO, try Antonella's. Both are moderately priced BYO's, and probably your most "intimate" bet.
