Was it the tit? Thats what did it for me. Good thing the Yankees keep getting into the World Series, Steinbrenner would never let crap like that happen during the 7th inning stretch. --John |

It wouldn't been better if Justin was dancing with Michael Jackson and the capper was his nose coming off.

Half-time just isn't what it should be - and hasn't been for a long time... Perhaps its time for the Marching Band to refuse to yeild! |

there's more to the superbowl than the damn commercials. oops i forgot, i live in advertisingwood. i can't believe they would schedule a sporting event so close to the academy award nomination/ceremomy. if a nipple slip is more newsworthy than the game i have a house for sale. too bad there are only little green men with pointy shoes at the end of the rainbow.....NOT! |

I missed the nip slip simply because I had had enough by then. Why are they targeting teens with the halftime show when the majority of viewers are adults? P Diddy? Kid Rock? Nelly? Give me a break! Why not mix it up so there's some entertainment for all age groups? The NFL screwed this up big-time. The 2nd half was definitely exciting though. If only the score could have stayed at 21-10, I would have been a little richer. |

I thought the half time show was great. So was the game. Why must you people always be so angry? Look for awhile at the China Cat Sunflower proud-walking jingle in the midnight sun Copper-dome Bodhi drip a silver kimono like a crazy-quilt stargown through a dream night wind.

janet jackson fully bared her breast to show that she was not, in fact, michael jackson. mtv claims this stunt was a surprise to them. if so, then we are also to believe that janet jackson always wears a nipple tassle? |

I agree, DrFalomar...this was pre-planned. I also noticed what you saw, and even rewound it on TiVO to double check. Several times. thirdgearrocks |

Was it really any worse than Lil' Kim at the MTV VMAs a couple years ago? I took a break during halftime, so I didn't even watch it. I can't stomach those "extravaganzas," so I'm outta there. But I think the youth of America will survive this assault on our morals. |

I didn't watch the superbowl or the halftime - no football fans in our house, TG. However I DID see Janet Jackson on Oprah a few years back when I was at home with my infant daughter. (suffering from post-partum brain-melt.) She mentioned the, um, ring during her interview, in fact went on about it at some length. It was a little embarrassing ... Anyway she wears it all the time. The things you remember ... |

I missed the boob live last night, but it seems to be unavoidable on the web today. What I thought was worse then that was Nelly grabbing his p.... during most of the show. Hip hop music has become so shallow (maybe it always was). Overall it was a lame half time show, and the commercials were the most boring ever. The game however had some nice moments. |

I think that Justin Timberlake was quite presidential when he described the event as a "wardrobe failure". |

Stupid, skanky, stupid. Our culture is awash in repulsive youth demographics. If you took a poll of 1000 Superbowl viewers and asked them if they wanted these idiotic, infantile half-time productions, 999 would say NO. I realize it's about viewers and advertising, but I hope the MTV clowns who dreamt up this hideous crap take some heat from the ad agencies. My 10 year old son even refused to watch this pathetic cast of moronic, shrieking nitwits. And while I'm at it: CBS's production of the game itself was over the top...every little stat and name was launched onto the screen with smoke, sparks and explosions. I'll play video games if I want all that crap. Just give me the damn game. Remember TV football in the 60s? Ray Scott, Jack Buck, Hank Stram? Simple, uncluttered, meaningful graphics and stats, minimal yakking, and camera shots chosen for the itelligent viewer. They must hire people with ADD to direct these telecasts. |
