katie:
whatever happened that night the SO Grille probably didn't encourage it. So besides having the bartenders put on more clothes, what should the grille do so that you will not protest them.

With at least four brothers I think it is pretty easy to understand Ms. Clayton's feisty nature. :-)

Katie,
If you can't say it here, where can you say it? Most of us are listening.

Katie: Someone from the town? Do you mean a resident, someone from the Grille, or someone from village hall?

"i said i'd get written proof if i can...if i can't o well! ...then i'm wrong..."

Katie - you don't need written proof. Had your original post said - 'an officer who was called to the scene told me' - or something along those lines instead of - "from what I hear" - it would have carried more weight and not be considered (for a better word) gossip. Contrary to your phone caller, I think it is important for the residents to be made aware of what's going on in town and I think you for your efforts.

I still have questions - since the gang task force was called is this a gang issue or since it was Thursday night, is it an SHU issue? I'm not convinced it's a SO Grille issue - unless they were serving this group beyond a reasonable "cut-off" point.

katie-
whoever called you had a lot of nerve! don't listen to them. the ironic thing about thr gro;;e is supposedly it was supposed to NOT be another stuft shirt. it was NOT supposed to cater to the 'college' crowd. it was supposed to draw more of a middle age crowd.

I heard an offer was made on the place and the owner was seriously considering taking it (he bought out the other partners out when it closed last time). Hopefully the new managment will have a better plan. It is a great space.

justme, whoever called katie doesn't have "a lot of nerve" as you say. S/he is a gutless, brainless individual with no nerve at all. If s/he had any of the above s/he wouldn't call Katie, s/he would post his/her opinion here, like the rest of us.
