SPRINGSTEEN PLAYS WITNESS TO ZEVON'S MUTINEER Back in 1980, Warren Zevon covered "Jeannie Needs a Shooter on his Bad Luck Streak in Dancing School LP; now, he plays with Bruce Springsteen on what is expected to be his final record. Zevon has been diagnosed with inoperable cancer, and is hard at work on a parting shot, planned for the summer of 2003. According to Rolling Stone, Springsteen joined Zevon in a Los Angeles studio, contributing to the album tentatively titled My Dirty Life and Times. Check out warrenzevon.com. |

checked the tour dates, looks like the next show is Feb 28, at Gwinnett Arena, Duluth, GA. so I guess he's available on Jan 25, if someone invites him.

Was anyone able to get A.C tickets? I was completely shut-out by Ticketmaster. Atlantic City will be a great place to see Bruce and after seeing shows in NY, Philly and Albany I was hoping to catch a break. Well I've been a losin' gambler. Any leads on tickets fellas?

On the bright side, rumor has it that Bruce will play 9 dates at the Continental Arena this summer. Should be a pretty good number of tix floating around for those shows. http://www.greasylake.org/flamingolane/flamingo.htm |

Thanks for the link to that article, it was great. I've always been partial to "Thunder Road" also, but some of you may have already figured that out. By the way, Rolling Stone Magazine is currently conducting a poll to select the "Artist of the Years" - one artist from among all those who received Artist of the Year honors over the last 27 years. Sad to say, as of this writing the Boss is being edged out by the "King of Pop". So, if anybody feels like voting, check out this link to cast your vote. |

Call me crazy, but Michael Jackson? Proof that the general public is filled with idiots with no taste. Neil Young was the only decent choice...! |

While I appreciate the listed artists won the award each year since 1976, I would have liked to have seen artists who have consistently produced great music over the 27 year period. Artists I would have included: Aerosmith Billy Joel Elton John Bee Gees (RIP Maurice) Any others?
