I read on one of the Springsteen-related web sites that the Community Food Bank of NJ in Hillside, NJ is accepting donations of tickets to the concerts. It might be a way to do some good with all of those extra tickets all of us have! | ||

I went to Fenway around two weeks after 9/11. The Red Sox were 10 games behind the "sucky" Yankees, and playing the lowly Tigers. The Tigers won. Despite the fact that the Yankees were in another stadium over a thousand miles away, Sox fans still cursed them on their way out of the stadium that night. It was as funny as it was pathetic. | ||

Lets not compare the success of the Yankees franchise to the "success" of the Red Sux franchise over the past century; that is a silly and one-sided comparison...lets compare the success of Springsteen to the band, Boston...oh wait, thats also silly and one-sided. And which "Boss" were you referring to...Springsteen or Steinbrenner? |
