Mem, You're not a Democrat. A democrat is defined as "someone who acts as a decoy (a pitchman)." This certainly isn't you. Sorry toots, you're a Republican, always have, always will.

I'm a proud Republican. I can't wait to vote for a Bush for the fourth time next November. "That moment has directly affected my foreign policy. See, it changed the nature of the presidency. Straw is so provocative. "Dumb" - ouch! Hurts cause it's true. I don't agree, but I have to respect his integrity and wit. Wonder if he eats oxycontin for breakfast, too. |

Is this not Strawberry!?!?!? "But if you listen long and hard enough, you can hear their faint and distant cries for help. It's clear that they suffer from a unique pathology that is slowly driving them insane. They are, at their core, very VERY afraid. They are afraid because, ultimately, they are ignorant. They are ignorant of much of the world that exists outside their own. They haven't a clue what it's like to be black or hopelessly poor or wishing to kiss someone of their own gender. This basic ignorance leads to their overwhelming and permanent state of fear. The fear quickly manifests itself into hate, which eventually leads to a very dark place. They become consumed with a desire to actually harm others, if not by their own hands (they are usually too afraid to do it themselves), then by having the state act in their stead: "Take away their funding! Eliminate their jobs! Execute the bastards!" This hate becomes not just political but personal, as anyone who has ever been married to one of these guys or had one as a relative or neighbor or boss knows. It is a rough road to hoe when you begin your day with an inherent anger toward everyone who isn't YOU." "I believe that many are lost in their own anger and have been manipulated by propaganda intended to get their blood boiling. The corporate, religeous, and political chieftains know just which buttons to push to get otherwise decent well meaning people on their side." Right on the nose Mr. Moore! |

This coming from Themp, Queen of the long winded and incorrect posts. You calling me dumb pretty much falls in line with the rest of your work. Short sited and Moronic. You my friend are a spineless, lost little girl looking for his Daddy. I'm not your daddy so go look elsewhere, genius. "That moment has directly affected my foreign policy. Straw,
I do not like being affiliated with a party, or being liberal or conservative, ect. I'm kind of like Tom Reingold, I don't like to join mainstream cults..I mean clubs. Right now I am technically a democtrat, but I may not stay a democrat as I grow up, I like change, and I vote for the person, not the cult...I mean club...no, I mean party. Whatever. I'm guessing your a Bush supporter? (haha!) Well, I am allowed my doubts about him, as I have had for all our presidents, you gotta keep em on their toes! |

By the way, I think that Michael Moore character is a bitter, negative wierdo. He has some good points but he goes about it all wrong. Yuck. And he's ugly too.

Mem; Granted, he is ugly, which is irrelavant, but can you please elaborate on your other comments about him? What are your comments based on? Have you read any of his books or seen any of his films? |

I admired his movie about Ford, and I read a lot of his comments, haven't read his latest books, but he comes across as too anti-establishment? or something, anyway too extreme for me, which is anti-productive. He is anti-corporation, and sooo many people feed their families, have jobs, schooling, grants, etc. because of them, so I think he's wrong there. I also heard he's anti-Israeli, and I am very pro. Otherwise, he reminds me of someone I would admire when I had the luxury of being a hippy teenager, not that there's anything wrong with that, except you have to grow up and face reality eventually. |

Sounds like you are drawing conclusions from very little info, which is understandable. I had long forgotten about him after Roger & Me, but when someone I know suggested I take a look at Bowling For Columbine, I saw it and I have to say that he really can open ones eyes in an ingenious way. Yes, he has his own eccentric style, but it really works. He is a very real and sincere person. If you are an open minded person, I suggest you take a look, or you can choose to just stick to your ill-founded conclusions about him like the rest who make judgements based on looks and without any real knowledge of what they are talking about. |

Mem said: He is anti-corporation, and sooo many people feed their families, have jobs, schooling, grants, etc. because of them, so I think he's wrong there. I have mixed feelings about Moore but this is just wrong. His attacks on big corporations, especially GM, tend to focus on how badly they treat their workers. He is a lot more concerened about the people trying to feed their families then the corporations are. |

Yes, ashear but one thing we have learned with the greed of tyco, enron, and worldcom is we need not only government enforcement, but groups/people like moore to assist in keeping them in check. It's too bad he stepped out of his element and become such a fool; he had value. to all my thoughts, add to the end: or not.

Moore knows how to do one thing. Make cheap movies that make a profit. He does this by tickling the fancy of liberals. He's nothing more than a semi-talented film man/salesman who was at the right place at the right time. "That moment has directly affected my foreign policy. See, it changed the nature of the presidency. It changed the security arrangements of the United States of America. I vowed to the American people I would never forget the lessons of September the 11th, 2001." --President George W. Bush
