Did you ever know anyone with a really bad name? When I was a kid, the most overweight girl in the second grade just happened to be named Sylvia Whoppas...What are the odds? You can imagine how much guff she had to take.

There's a kid at my son's school named Jihad. In this day and age that must be a tough name to have. I've also seen a kid running around the park named Socrates. I think that would be tough for a kid to have as well...

I once saw a hyphenated last name of Small-Johnson...and it was a guy using it. Theres a man who either has alot of confidence in himself or is clueless, I thought to myself.

2 come to mind

Iona Boob (seriously) and
Ada Burger

These are (were, in the case of Mrs. Boob) real people.

Just the last name of Boob was enough for us kids to have a laugh, but "Iona"?

It may be an urban legend, but there is a story about a Judge Schmuck in New York. People who wanted to have their names legally changed were out of luck if they drew him as a judge.
