Bob..its easy to admit to real person crushes...its the cartoon crushes that are, well, more amusing. Come on, fess up...they had cartoons when you were a kid too.

redY...not sure how else to address you based on your handle..anyhow..I'll bring the screwpull! And for the California Cab ride youre advocating, roast lamb..or maybe dark chocolate. I'll bring along some Chappellet cabs too..or go off in another direction...sparkling wine or Rhones. Mem will probably crash the proceedings.

Soulful Mr. T:

Some days it seems that almost any event in town turns into a face to face. Last week there were at least five MOLers knitting and crocheting at the Purls of Hope Project. We all did such a great job of protecting our on-line identies that most of us didn't know that most of the others were there until five of us talked about the event on MOL. We still don't know who else from MOL might have been there and either missed that thread or chose to remain silent as to their presence.

One of the great things about belonging to an on-line community which overlaps so much with our bricks and mortar community is that anyone you meet on the street, sit next to on the train, live next to on your block, see regularly at a club meeting, etc. could be another MOLer and you might never know it.

Bunney's on the first weekend in April will be a great place to meet MOLers and support the future of our virtual community. I hope you and everyone else who posts on MOL will be there.

Another great way to meet MOL posters is to attend the various meetings, performances, projects, jam sessions, sporting activities, etc. publicized by people who post here on MOL.

redY67,
Here's my guilty secret - I have replaced red wine with champagne! Yes! It's been well over two months that my drink of choice is no longer red wine - it's champagne that has to cost at least $15 per bottle. I know - how decadent! But isn't Rome about to burn anyway?

So, I will work on replacing my little picture with a glass of bubbly (Dave?) and bust out of the closet.
Does anyone want to bunk with a reformed red winer bubble head?

Wow! I take a couple of days off and someone starts this great thread.

OK who to bunk with...geez I think this would be one great pajama party. [Asterisks mean I've at least met these folks IRL] Eliz*, Cynical, Alg*, Lydia*, Sbenois (because I want to know who the hell he is already), Duncan because he would bring the coolest party-crashers, Greenie and TS because they'd bring awesome food, Straw because he's really nice in person (at least the one time I met him)*, Dave and Jamie because they'd build a cool Web site to memorialize the event, Tom and Mem because they are MOL institutions, AJC* for the pancakes, and anyone else who wants to come because (as my nine-year-old wrote on the homepage of a website she recently built with her friends) "EVERYONE IS WELCOME EXCEPT SNOBS AND LIARS."

Dear Just The Aunt,

Now that's a lot of love. Listen, you're not just any ordinary aunt, you're the best aunt a guy could ask for, and a great American...
