Red- I am enamored of VC yellow label! We've gotten a couple vintage bottles as presents and they are wonderful. I will bunk with anyone who brings a bottle of VC to share. Bob - I skimmed your last post really quickly and was shocked at your x-rated post. After a re-read, I realized what it actually said..... |

theres a number of decent $15 (give or take a few dollars) sparkling wines out there..the perfect alternative to beer or whatever other wine you like with Asian or Latin food. I think sparkling wine goes with most any meal. Cliquot NV is a fine champagne but the price has crept up over the years...the good thing about the "alleged" champagne shortage before the millenium celebrations was that smaller, lesser known, lower priced champagnes were more readily available on the market. If money isnt much of a considerable, try Cliquot's tete de cuvee (their version of Moet's Dom Perignon)...Le Grande Dame. (I guess you missed my sparkling wine reference, redY, in my reply yesterday!) |

Hank I did..... I am a champagne snob. Veuve is least expensive champagne I will drink. Le Grande Dame is delicious, and the Tattinger Rose..... |

Id choose a champagne over any wine because I think its more universal than any other wine, red or white...can be consumed all by itself or complement any meal. I prefer rose champagnes and blanc de noirs but I wont turn down any others...even dessert champagnes. Im impressed with your wine budget, by the way.

I was wondering what made socks sexy (besides who was in them and what else they were wearing or not wearing). |

Tall thigh high socks. And a hat. And nothing else. Can't beat that combo. |

Thanks Mom and AJ! I see the discussion is now what to wear? Or not to wear? Can I wear my bunny slippers? |

vor What's a 'Fonseca?' And of course you're invited!! Hey we really should have a all night party! How much do you think Andy would charge us to use the big room at the community house? |
