The little community network we have growing is beginning to get a bit large. One thing I don't want is for new people to feel overwhelmed by the place. It takes time to get used to many of the items and posters, so I felt it might be a good idea to create a place to welcome new people and to offer help or answers as they get acquainted with the place. This is the meet & greet section. Dave |

Whew, I'm finally here. I've been browsing MOL for many months and am finally taking the plunge. I must admit I was made aware of MOL's existence through an e-mail from a friend (received while I was at work). And a lot of my *perusing the threads* was done from work. So, here I am, at home, sweet home, in good conscience, making my first post. Hi! I'm a newbie. Looking forward to joining in your robust discourse. |

Hello all. I'm in the process of moving into Maplewood and just wanted to say hi. My name is David (not to be confused with the all powerful moderator) If all goes well with my mortgage (crosses fingers) I will finally break free from the chains of Urban Condos and moving into my and my family's first home. I guess you can take this as a warning of what's to come. : ) |

David, Welcome to the town(s). Be sure to stop by the library, either library. Any info you can't find at MOL,(if there is such a thing), you are sure to find at your local, public library. |

Thanks everyone. Librarylady, I am sure my wife will be spending a lot of time at the libraries since she spent part of her childhood here in Maplewood and a good portion of that time winning contests for reading books over the summer there. : ) |

This is a very cool idea. I am particularly pleased that it is accurate and current. Meeting neighbours has never been so easy |
