Cool! Hi everyone. This is a cool site. I heard a lot about it and had to check it out. I've been reading a while, and decided to participate.

Joancrystal, Thank you for the welcome. Just a guess: Do you collect stemware? (crystal) I have a Waterford (slight inclusion on the base) from the early 1970's. Anyway, I thank you for your hospitality. Trapper |

Trapper: No. Sorry. I do collect post cards though. I started collecting them to use as visual aides when I thought I would go into teaching. I was about 5 years old at the time and already bored with baseball cards. I have several thousand post cards now. Some of them, especially those from the Corning Art Museum and the Metropolitan Museum Art of Art have some fine representations of art glass. What do you collect? |

Whatever happened to Costanza? Did he ever find his job? Did he have his baby? |

Dear Mem, I am sure that you missed my explanation re: Mr. Costanza because it appeared in a recent thread (containing the Sbenois Greatest Post Of All Time)that was sadly deleted out of respect for a superb f-------- d-----) but Mr. Costanza was asked to leave Sbenois Engineering roughly two weeks ago due to poor job performance. His wife is due shortly and despite the fact that I have dismissed him with two weeks severance pay, I am going to allow his wife to have one additional visit with a local doctor at my expense. And Joan Crystal, before you go on the attack, I had not offered Mr. Costanza health insurance as part of his compensation package and he was aware of this prior to accepting the position. I cannot be responsible for everything, as you know. I did apologize to both of them for the fact that it did not work out and at last word they were both looking for a cheaper place to live and were living off of their prior savings. As I'm sure you can imagine, I wish them well and I hope the baby is healthy. |

Sbenois Does that mean Sbenois Industries has a job opening? Will you provide the next candidate with adequate training? Resouces? Staffing? Will you give him/her a proper orientation to your ISO 9000 quality system? Will you actually mentor the next person? Is it possible that Mr. Costanza was actually over performing but you either failed to recognize that or are jealous of his skills and talents? I think Mr. C desrves a second chance. Think about what will happen to Mr. C in his current state of rejection and dejection? And think about what will happen to Rosemary, his wife, and what about Rosemary's baby?

Dearest Ed, Sadly, you are not qualifed for any positions with my firm. I was going to offer you something until I saw that flimsy one page flyer of yours in the Millburn Diner. How long did it take you to cut those 5/8 inch wide tear off things? Mr. Costanza finds himself in a difficult position but I can assure you that it is one of his own doing. I did not force him to come east nor did I instruct him to bring his family out here. I cannot be responsbile for his plight nor will I be. Are we clear? I am sorry if I am being tense here but I will not be held responsbile for someone who performed his job in a manner that I felt was not acceptable. |

Dearest Sbenois Me, myself, and I, none of us seek employment at Sbenois Industries. If nominated I will not run; I elected I will not serve. I was planning to offer you some consulting services, until you insulted my brochure, which by the way was crearted At NetNomads, which you are also insulting. Now that I know which diner you frequent, one of my operatives will be instructed to prepare for you a special pie that will be delivered in a special way when you next visit. Sbenois, you have failed to answer my final question with a final answer! What about Rosemary's baby? (That should turn a few heads!)

Dear Ed, Some things you just should not joke about. Mr. Costanza is going through a very trying time in his life and he doesn't need you or Mem making light of his family's situation. |

Enough awready. There IS no Costanza. He, his wife and baby, and the entire thread involving them, are figments of Sbenois' fertilizer-filled imagination. MOL's resident coat-holder created the thread during what I must assume must have been a slow news day. Dave can attest to the phoniositude of the whole tawdry affair. Sbenois must NEVER be taken seriously. Oddly, when called upon to finally accept responsibility for the odious shamosity he has foisted upon unsuspecting and well-intentioned MOLites, Sbenois, quite contrary to his erstwhile guise of benificence and mildly artful satirical silliness, unleashed a venomous dark side, engaging in Private Line barrages simultaneously pathetic and threatening. I have remained silent on the subject since the thread lapsed into much-deserved oblivion, but I will no longer sit still and allow mem, Joan, Ed, or any other well-meaning souls to be taken in by this cruel hoax. Senois crossed the line of fun-fiction with his little pot-boiler, and needs to let the Costanza family die in peace. BTW, I've kept the Private Line emails, and will post them if Sbenois attempts to encourage any further queries about the ill-advised Costanza Identity. |

Hi. I'm introducing myself. Some of you may have seen my plea for help in finding my lost dog, Atticus (black standard poodle, close cut so he looks like a greyhound - still missing as of 9/16) I live in South Orange, I work out of my home as a knit designer, craft writer and hand knit instructor. We have two kids (one in the school system here, one is still too young) and I knit constantly - witness the large lace knitted sculpture outside of the Baird center until 10/20/02 - it's mine! I also had a bunch of knitted furniture in the window at Motley Fama for a while and will be teaching an intermediate knitting class there on Thursdays starting this week. (I teach begining knitting at the Newark Museum - for a class list you can click here http://www.modecard.com/classes Looking forward to conversation, learning things about the place I've lived for 6 years and - hopefully - finding my dog.
